ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ senior Nimo Abdi is one of 10 students nationwide to receive the 2026 Marion B. Sewer Distinguished Scholarship from the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. A biomedical science and philosophy major, Abdi studies the intersection of immunology and metabolism.

Abdi credits mentorship from Dr. Luis Cedeno-Rosario at the University of Utah with helping lead to this honor.
